SERKA Kars Logistics Center Opening Meeting Held

Kars Logistics Center Opening Information and Consultation Meeting was held in the Kars head office of Serhat Development Agency. At the meeting, after the presentation about the introduction of the logistics center that became operational, the questions asked by the participants were answered by the relevant institutions.

Kars Logistics Center (400st Stage) and Railway Connection, which is established on an area of ​​412 thousand square meters and has a carrying capacity of 1 thousand tons, has been completed and started operations. Following the temporary acceptance of the center, the construction of which started in 2017, it was opened to transportation and traffic operations on 21.05.2021. For this reason, the Opening Information and Consultation Meeting of the Kars Logistics Center, jointly organized by the Republic of Turkey State Railways 4th Regional Directorate, Serhat Development Agency and Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held today.

Serhat Development Agency Secretary General Dr. İbrahim Taşdemir, Head of Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ertuğrul Alibeyoğlu, TCDD 4th Regional Manager Ali Karabey, TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. 4. Regional Manager Erhan Tepe, TCDD Erzurum Operations Manager Yunus Yeşilyurt and relevant service managers, as well as stakeholders from the regional provinces and institutions and organizations operating in the relevant sector attended. At the meeting, after the presentation about the Kars Logistics Center, which became operational, the questions asked by the participants were answered by the relevant institutions.
