Sefik Bursalı (Date of birth 1903, Bursa - Date of death 20 April 1990), Turkish painter. He was born in Bursa in 1903. He studied at the İbrahim Çallı Workshop at the Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts, which was called Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebi at that time. He finished the school with first place. Since 1923, he participated in Galatasaray and Academy exhibitions with Bursa sights. He studied painting in art centers in Europe for a while. After returning home, he taught painting in Izmir, Konya and Istanbul; Since 1936, he became a faculty member at the Ankara State Fine Arts Academy. He was given the title of professor by Mimar Sinan University in 1987. He died on April 20, 1990.

The painter, who generally deals with the historical and touristic views of Konya, Bursa and Istanbul in his paintings, has succeeded in immortalizing the city of Bursa, where he was born. Selçuk, which he made with the influence of the period he was teaching in Konya, gained fame with his Mevleana themed paintings. His works were exhibited in various cities of the Soviet Union and Europe in 1937-1938 at Atatürk's request.

The house where he lived in Ankara was organized by the Ministry of Culture as the Şefik Bursalı Museum House upon the will of the painter. This museum-house is the first private museum in the field of painting.

He was named after the street he lived in and an art gallery in Bursa. Also, there is a bust of it in Kültürpark in Bursa.

Since 2000, a painting competition has been organized by the Ministry of Culture on behalf of the painter every year.
