Mudanya Streets are Shining Now

Thanks to the asphalting move initiated by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in all corners of the city during the period of complete closure, the main streets of Mudanya district now have a sparkling appearance.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its works to improve the existing roads in both the city center and 17 districts in Bursa, renewed the main streets of Mudanya district, which was the most important gate of the city opening to the coast during the period of complete closure and especially in the summer months. Within the scope of the works carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with the Regional Directorate of Highways, the 1250-meter route covering Halitpaşa and Mustafa Kemal Paşa Streets from BUDO Pier to Yıldız Tepe was asphalted by the Highways.

After the completion of the asphalting of this stage, the Metropolitan Municipality entered the circuit. Değirmendere Street, Aslanbaba Street, İpar Street and Deniz Street, which are the arrival direction from Yıldız Tepe to the BUDO pier, were also asphalted by the Metropolitan Municipality. Milling and asphalt coating process was carried out on a route of 32 meters by the Department of Transportation with 42 vehicles and 1850 Metropolitan Municipality personnel. In the region where the teams spend day and night, a total of 2800 tons of asphalt has been poured and the main streets have a modern appearance. While 6 tons of asphalt was poured in a total of 4600 tons of asphalt in the study of both institutions covering a total of XNUMX streets, the lane lines and the sign lines of the pedestrian crossings were drawn by the Metropolitan Municipality. With these works, Mudanya district has entered the summer with its sparkling streets.

Stating that as the Metropolitan Municipality they always try to turn the pandemic bans into opportunities, Mayor Alinur Aktaş said, “Especially realizing transportation investments are troublesome investments due to the interruption of traffic. The route on which he works in Mudanya are two important axes that are the lifeblood of the district. For this reason, we cooperated with Highways and completed the works by working day and night during the full closure period.
