Expansion works on Girne Bridge, one of the most important points of transportation between Seyhan and Yüreğir districts, have been completed. By the Adana Metropolitan Municipality, the bridge, which previously had a 5-lane road, was expanded to 10 lanes.
Thus, one of the works to be done for the relief of urban transportation has been completed.
Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar said, “The extension of the Girne Bridge has been completed. In order to avoid traffic congestion, the 5-lane road has been increased to 10 lanes. The sidewalks have also been widened. "We do not avoid any sacrifice to make Adana a more livable and modern city," he said.
