İZFAŞ maintains its quality certificate in the service it received for the first time in Turkey in the exhibition industry. Fuar Izmir, Turkey's largest and most modern fairground, was defined as a safe area by TSE with the precautions and practices it has taken against Covid-19. It was registered with the Covid-19 Safe Service Certificate of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE).

İZFAŞ, which will host the fairs postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic in 2021, has completed its preparations for the new fair period. Taking all precautions to organize the fairs in a healthy and safe way, İZFAŞ fulfilled the requirements of the "TSE Covid-19 Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Certification Program" and was entitled to receive TSE Covid-19 Safe Service Certificate.

Opened its doors with MODEKO

The first physical fair after the restriction in the pandemic process in Izmir, where fairs started in Turkey and hosted hundreds of organizations, was MODEKO - 32nd International Izmir Furniture Fair. Bringing local and foreign visitors together with nearly 300 participants, international procurement delegation program, MODEKO instilled hope in the fair industry by being carried out in accordance with Covid-19 measures. Fuarizmir fulfilled the requirements of the "TSE Covid-19 Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Certification Program" at this fair.

Marble Izmir will make a mark

Marble Izmir, Turkey's largest fair, which could not be held in 2020 due to the pandemic, will open its doors for the 25th time between 28-26 August. The 6th International Stone Congress and World Stone Forum, organized within the scope of Marble Izmir, one of the biggest fairs of the natural stone industry in the world, will bring together international stone organizations and expert names.

Healthy and safe fairs

Continuing its goal of making İzmir a city of fairs since its establishment, İZFAŞ continues to offer alternative solutions to the fair industry according to the changing and developing world conditions. Providing a new vision to the fair organization by offering digital solutions to the sector representatives who could not come together physically during the pandemic period, İZFAŞ also takes all measures for physical fairs that are prepared to come to life with the revival of trade. The measures to be implemented by İZFAŞ, which passed the TSE audits and qualified to receive TSE Covid-19 Safe Service Certificate, are as follows:

Current rules and circulars published by the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health will be applied. HES codes of visitors, exhibitors and officials entering the fairground will be checked and their temperature will be measured. Those who have a fever of 38 degrees and above will not be allowed to enter the area and will be directed to the nearest health institution. The number of people, including visitors, exhibitors and officials, in the Fuarizmir area will be limited to 10 person per 1 square meters in closed areas. People in the area will be kept waiting according to social distance rules and landmarks will be placed at a distance of at least 1,5 meters between them. There will be continuous audio, written and visual announcements and announcements in the area. All entries and exits will be arranged in a way that prevents contact. One-way signs will be placed for entrances and exits. All visitors, exhibitors and officials will be required to wear masks during their stay in the area. There will be mask waste boxes for moist and dirty masks. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances of the fairgrounds and at each booth in accordance with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. Crowded visitors will not be accepted at the stands. Distribution of all non-essential items including books, brochures and magazines will be prohibited. Attention will be paid to the continuous cleaning of the frequently touched surfaces in the area. It will be ensured that the Covid-19 lighting text and instructions created for the organizer, exhibitors, visitors and officials are complied with and implemented.
