Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has extended the period of free use of public transportation for healthcare workers, who are the heroes of the pandemic process, until 1 June.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality continues to support health heroes, who are at the forefront in the fight against coronavirus, and who work devotedly by being deprived of their families, children and loved ones. The Metropolitan Municipality, which has always been with healthcare workers with accommodation, free use of public transportation, vitamin C support packages and Health Heroes Memorial Forest, has extended the period of free use of public transportation.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which gave healthcare workers the right to use public transportation for free in March last year, restarted the application, which ended on July 1, 2020, on October 23, 2020, when the pandemic peaked. The duration of the application, in which a total of 24 thousand 628 people received a health worker card, was extended until May 16, 2021, the last day of the complete closure. On the last day of the complete closure, within the scope of the Gradual Normalization Measures issued by the Ministry of Interior, the period of free use of public transportation for healthcare workers was extended until 1 June 2021.
