DHL Express, the world's leading international fast air transportation company, will continue its successful activities in Turkey under the leadership of Claus Lassen for about 4 years with Mustafa Tonguç.

Claus Lassen, who took over the leadership of DHL Express in Turkey in February 2017 and brought many successes to DHL Express Turkey, handed over the flag to Mustafa Tonguç, who is responsible for Sales as of May 1, 2021.

Mustafa Tonguç, who started working in the DHL Family in 1997 at DHL Germany Operations, was the manager of the customer services team, as well as his operational duties at the separation center and airport in Germany. Before being promoted to his position in Turkey, Tonguç worked as the General Director of Distribution Centers and Airport Performance and Programs of DHL Express Europe.

During his tenure as Deputy General Manager Responsible for Operations, Tonguç contributed greatly to DHL Express Turkey's achievement of its regional and local operational targets and achieved excellent results with his team. Tonguç also pioneered many initiatives such as the project of DHL Express Turkey's facility at Istanbul Airport.

Tonguç, who served as the Deputy General Manager Responsible for Sales in his last role, took important steps in a short period of time in structuring the sales team and determining the new sales strategy.

Having taken its place among the global talents within the scope of the Talent Development Program for the last two years with its successful performance, Tonguç will carry DHL Express Turkey to even better points with its experience of more than 20 years of DHL Express.
