According to the data published by the Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), in April 2021, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market decreased by 69,1% monthly, and increased by 132,1% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 61.412. Since the beginning of the year, the automotive and light commercial market has grown by 140% annually to 362.304 units.

In April 2021, domestic automobile and light commercial vehicle sales decreased by 68,5% monthly and increased by 225,8% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 26.255 units. Since the beginning of the year, domestic automobile sales grew by 158% annually to 152.429 units.

While the sales of imported automobiles and light commercial vehicles decreased by 69,5% monthly, they increased by 91,1% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 35.157. Since the beginning of the year, imported automobile sales grew by 129% compared to the same period of the last year and reached 209.875.

In the total automobile and light commercial vehicle market, Fıat became the market leader with 2021% market share in April 14, followed by Volkswagen with 12% share and Renault with 11% share. In the January-April period of 2021, the market leader was Fıat with 15% market share, followed by Volkswagen with 11% share and Renault with 10% share.

When we look at the 12-month cumulative total, the highest value from 2014 until today was recorded in November 997.981 with 2016 units, and the lowest value in August 419.826 with 2019 units. As of April 2021, it has reached 984.232 units.
