Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğluattended the “Local Administration and Business World” meeting organized by the Malatya Business People Association (MİAD) on the video platform. In this meeting, İmamoğlu gave information about the metro constructions in Istanbul, maritime transportation and the financing of these projects. İmamoğlu stated that they issued 550 million dollars of Eurobonds for the metro constructions in Istanbul and that they found a 930 million Euro financing. IMM President noted that they negotiated with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBDR) for 450 million euros for the İncirli-Sefaköy-Beylikdüzü Line in the first place.

According to Vahap Munyar from Dünya newspaper, İmamoğlu stated that the total length of 10 different metro lines, which are still under construction, is 103.3 kilometers. He expressed the status of the lines in question as follows:
