Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Department of Urban Aesthetics has started maintenance, repair and painting work to give an aesthetic appearance to the worn out pedestrian overpasses. While 25 pedestrian overpasses were included in the maintenance and painting program in Başkent, the painting process of the pedestrian overpass in front of the 1071 Malazgirt Boulevard ODTÜ A4 Gate and the overpass in front of the Eskişehir Road Court of Accounts was completed. Metropolitan teams gave a clean look to the city square by painting the pedestrian railings in front of the Ulus Atatürk Monument.
Metropolitan Municipality has started cleaning, maintenance, repair and painting work in 25 pedestrian overpasses that are worn or spilled throughout the city.
Within the scope of the works carried out under the coordination of the Department of Urban Aesthetics in order to give the city an aesthetic appearance before the Ramadan Feast, the maintenance and painting processes that will extend the life of the overpasses have been accelerated.
PEDESTRIAN RAILS ARE PAINTED WITH 25 PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS
While painting and maintenance works were completed on 6 overpasses in the first stage, the following 25 pedestrian overpasses on the Protocol Road, especially Eskişehir, Konya, Samsun and Istanbul Road, and some streets and boulevards were included in the maintenance, repair, cleaning and painting program:
“In front of METU Entrance, In front of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, In front of Ümitköy Etimesgut Return, In front of the Tax Inspection Board, In front of Etiler DHM Enterprise, In front of Gazi Hospital, in front of Gölbaşı Yunus Market, In front of Petrol Office, In front of Turhan Dökmeci Primary School, In front of Ufuk University Hospital , In front of Yelken Plaza, In front of Çiğiltepe Military Lodging, In front of School for the Blind, In front of Turgut Özal Boulevard 1011 Junction, Turgut Özal Boulevard, in front of Siteler Entrance Junction, In front of Balıkhisar Village Entrance, In front of Çankırı Junction, Çubuk Crossroad In front of MAN Factory, Gümüşköy Göçmen Housing Junction Eskiköy Road In front of Gümüşköy Sitesi Entrance, In Front of Hürriyet Facilities Location, In Front of Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Boulevard Altınpark, in Front of Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Boulevard Aydınlıkevler High School, In Front of Parkçiftlik, Yenimahalle Cemre Park.
Continuing the painting process at the pedestrian overpass in front of Armada Shopping Mall, the teams of the Department of Urban Aesthetics have recently completed the painting process in front of the 1071 Malazgirt Boulevard ODTÜ A4 gate and the overpass in front of the Eskişehir Road Court of Accounts. Metropolitan teams also painted the pedestrian railings in front of the Atatürk Statue in Ulus, giving the city square a clean look.
