Landscape Arrangement Around Eminönü Alibeyköy Tram Line

IMM rapidly continues its work in the Golden Horn. Having landscaped the T1 Eminönü - Alibeyköy Tram Line, which was opened on January 5, IMM brings blue and green together. With the work done, an uninterrupted walking path is planned by the beach.

İBB, which makes landscaping around the T5 Eminönü - Alibeyköy Tram Line, which is open to the public at the beginning of the year and passes through the Golden Horn, also organizes green areas actively used by the citizens. As a result of the joint work carried out by the IMM Park, Garden and Green Areas Department and the Road Maintenance Department, the blue and green of the Golden Horn will meet.

UNINTERRUPTED WALKING ROAD

The studies are aimed at increasing the circulation of pedestrians and cyclists in the region. For this reason, the parking areas on the beaches are shifted to the inner regions. Along with the landscape works, the sidewalks and roads are rearranged and an uninterrupted walking path is planned. Stating that the work started at the end of 2019, IMM Park Garden and Green Areas Department Head Prof. Dr. Yasin Çağatay Seçkin made the following statements about the work done in the Golden Horn:

“As it is known, we opened a nationwide competition. The first competition of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was held in the Golden Horn. We are currently working on the line from Eminönü to Alibeyköy. First of all, we organize the green areas that our people actively use. In order for our people to be in direct contact with water, we make the necessary negotiations to remove the structures that prevent this along the route. All of our excitement is that this epidemic will be concluded as soon as possible and our people will meet these areas. "

ROADS AND STAYS ARE ORGANIZED

In the landscaping work carried out on an area of ​​1 million square meters on the shore of the Golden Horn, roads and pavements are also rearranged. IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluIMM Road Maintenance Department also takes part in the works carried out in the field, which is seen as one of the most important lines of this year by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Saying that the works are about to be completed, Head of IMM Road Maintenance Department Seyfullah Demirel gave the following information about the works:

“Our new metro line was built around the Golden Horn, first on the light rail system route. Later, the IMM Park Garden and Green Fields Department started the green area arrangement on the beach. Working with the same project team, we started the pavement and road arrangement and geometric arrangements of Abdülezelpaşa Street, which is adjacent to the light rail system. "
