Launched in 2021 by the EGO General Directorate Driver of the Month In the application, the names for the month of February have been announced. In February, one driver from each region; Ali Ateş from the 1st Region Bus Management Branch, Mehmet Gürbüz from the 2nd Region, Adem Hot from the 3rd Region, Mustafa Çakmak from the 4th Region and Kerim Aktepe from the 5th Region were selected as the “Driver of the Month”.
EGO Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak, Head of Bus Operations Department Yahya Şanlıer and Head of Service Improvement and Institutional Development Department Ayten Gök met with the “Drivers of the Month” at the 1st Regional Bus Operation Branch Office. In his speech here, Zafer Tekbudak thanked the drivers who were deemed worthy of the award for their attention and care while performing their duties and congratulated them for being the driver of the month.
Reminding that the application was initiated in order to increase the morale and motivation of our employees who work as drivers in the EGO General Directorate Bus Management Department and to reward those who meticulously fulfill their duties, Tekbudak said that among the evaluation criteria, thank you messages for positive behavior towards citizens, compliance with traffic rules, He said that there are nine headings: compliance with his colleagues and supervisors, work discipline, and attention to dress. Stating that they are paid for ten daily wages as a reward, Tekbudak stated that he is proud of the personnel who do their job properly and that his door is always open to them.
EGO Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak also thanked all our devoted drivers who work devotedly in the coronavirus pandemic conditions we are in.
