Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, received the Türk-İş and Hak-İş delegations within the scope of the Public Sector Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Türk-İş General Financial Secretary Ramazan Ağar and Deputy Chairman of Hak-İş Osman Yıldız presented their joint demands for the 2021 Framework Protocol on Public Collective Bargaining Agreements to Minister Bilgin at the Reşat Moralı Hall of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Stating that they will evaluate the requests submitted to them as the government, Minister Bilgin stated that collective bargaining negotiations take a long process from time to time and said, “The sooner we achieve this on the basis of a broad consensus, the more contribution we have to the stability of working life in Turkey and democracy in Turkey. we would do it. " said.

Stating that economic growth is a very important indicator, Bilgin emphasized that Turkey managed to grow by 19 percent in the first quarter of this year despite the negative effects of the Kovid-7 outbreak.

Bilgin stated that while the world and OECD countries were shrinking, Turkey's 7 percent growth was promising in terms of the future, and said:

“In the upcoming period, it is important to continue this growth and to make it better quality. Quality growth is growth based on export. Completion of the collective bargaining process within the consensus will contribute to social and economic development. We think Turkey has a clear path. Today, we will receive the demands of the Framework Protocol on Collective Bargaining Agreements with our labor confederations and unions. We will continue this negotiation after we and the Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers Union (TÜHİS) and we have done the necessary work on the offers. "

Bilgin stated that the collective bargaining system is one of the basic institutions of democracy, "The more we can achieve this with common sense, the more consolidated the way to solve the problems of Turkey in consensus."

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Ahmet Erdem, General Director of Labor Nurcan Önder and TÜHİS Secretary General Adnan Çiçek were also present in the program.
