Reminding that the relevant units of China have conducted a series of researches on this subject, Shao continued his speech as follows: According to the studies, the variants that started to become widespread in the first half of last year do not reduce the protection of vaccines developed in China. On the other hand, few variants emerged after the second half of last year. According to the results of clinical trials and global studies, inactivated vaccines and mRNA vaccines developed by China also have a protective effect against virus variants seen in South Africa and Brazil, which attract great attention of the international community.
