500 thousand doses of vaccine donated by the Chinese government reached Myanmar

The 500 thousand doses of Kovid-19 vaccine donated to Myanmar by the Chinese government reached Yangon International Airport the day before. While the epidemic prevention and control cooperation between China and Myanmar has been going on effectively since the start of the new coronavirus epidemic, the Chinese side has provided Myanmar with a large amount of relief supplies on epidemic prevention and has sent a team of medical experts to Myanmar many times.

During his visit to Myanmar from January 11-12, China's State Counselor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a number of political compromises were reached on the future development of bilateral relations between the two countries, including strengthening cooperation in combating the epidemic. Accordingly, China will continue to provide epidemic-fighting materials in accordance with the needs of Myanmar.
