Stating that 93 percent of the switches produced in Çankırı Scissor Factory are domestic and national, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “Our Çankırı Scissor Factory manufactures switches and their spare parts and materials to be used in the railway lines of other private and official institutions as well as our State Railways. . Our factory, which was put into service in 1992 and has an annual production capacity of 250 trusses, produces wooden and concrete sleeper trusses. Renewing itself continuously since the year it was founded; The factory, which is open to innovation both in technology and personnel training, has reached the capacity to produce 17 types of scissors in the production of one type of scissors. The shears produced are 93 percent domestic and national. Scissors produced in accordance with international standards meet the needs of the institution "he said.

Stating that they are planning to make the Çankırı Scissor Factory one of Europe's largest scissors recovery centers in the railway sector by establishing a Scissor Rehabilitation Center with an additional area of ​​3 square meters to be built, Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “ has an importance. In railway transportation, we plan to create 25 million tons of transport capacity in 14.8 logistics centers on a total area of ​​60.6 million square meters. By completing the Samsun-Sivas railway project, which is the largest railway modernization project in Turkey, we opened the line to commercial management. Ankara - Sivas High Speed ​​Train Project; It forms an important part of the east-west high-speed railway corridor extending from Edirne to Kars. We had realized an important construction that would accelerate our railway investments. We combined TÜLOMSAŞ, TÜDEMSAŞ and TÜVASAŞ under the roof of TÜRASAŞ. We aim to create synergy by gathering sector stakeholders under one roof with the aim of becoming the leading company in the production of railway vehicles in the Turkish Rail system sector. With the experience gained from the production of National Electric Train Sets, we started the Electric Train Set Project work at a speed of 225 km / hour. We plan to complete the prototype in 2022 and start mass production in 2023. While continuing to produce diesel, electric, locomotives, railway maintenance vehicles, modernization of railway vehicles, train control management system, wagons, diesel engines, we also carry out R&D studies for the development of national railway vehicles. said.
