The results of the Sefik Bursalı Painting Competition, which is organized every year to keep alive the memory of Şefik Bursalı, one of Turkey's most important painting masters, and to support, evaluate and exhibit the works of artists in the field of plastic arts, have been announced.
The application and selection committee evaluation of the competition, which was organized for the 19th time this year by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was made online at gorselsanat.ktb.gov.tr.
Selection committee evaluation made over 627 works whose applications were accepted; Başkent University Faculty of Design and Architecture Dean Prof. Dr. Adnan Tepecik, Painter Hikmet Çetinkaya, Painter Mehmet Ali Doğan, Representative of Bursalı family Ünsal Piroğlu and Deputy General Director of Fine Arts from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Dr. It was made by Alper Özkan.
Total Award 95 Thousand Lira
5 thousand lira and Certificate of Achievement will be given for each of the 10 works that win the Success Award in the competition, and a thousand lira and Participation Certificate will be given for each of the 45 works deemed worthy of exhibition.
The prize to be presented at the 19th Şefik Bursalı Painting Competition will be 95 thousand TL in total.
The exhibition and award ceremony of the competition will be announced later on guzelsanatlar.gov.tr.
