Enginhan Demir, who has a great interest in trams, celebrated his 15th birthday by using the tram with the special program ESTRAM has prepared for him.
Providing a comfortable and safe journey to tens of thousands of Eskişehir residents every day, ESTRAM also gets full marks from the citizens with its social responsibility studies. In this context, the citizen named Derya Demir, who wrote a letter to ESTRAM on April 8, stated that his 14-year-old son, Enginhan Demir, with autism, had a great interest in trams, and ESTRAM officials took action. ESTRAM staff, who prepared a special birthday surprise for Enginhan Demir, hosted Enginhan and his mother at the Care Center located next to the Bus Station. Enginhan, who blows a birthday cake on the tram as the guest of ESTRAM General Manager Hakan Murat Bayındır, was presented with the gifts of Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen.
Later, Enginhan Demir, who moved to the driver's cabin accompanied by a vatman, experienced his biggest dream of driving the tram on his 15th birthday. Derya Demir thanked ESTRAM and the Metropolitan Municipality for their requests and stated that one of the biggest dreams of her son came true.
ESTRAM General Manager Hakan Murat Bayındır, who pointed out that individuals with special needs are always very valuable for the Metropolitan Municipality, stated that they are trying to support social responsibility activities as ESTRAM and that they celebrate Enginhan's birthday once again as the ESTRAM family.
