Adil Karaismailoğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, came to Bursa for a series of visits and examinations. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the metro line will serve Bursa with 4 stations and citizens will be provided with transportation to Bursa City Hospital.

"We have invested 19 billion 27 million TL in Bursa in 485 years"

Minister Karaismailoğlu; He stated that they have invested approximately 19 billion 12 million TL, 830 billion 27 million TL within the scope of Build-Operate-Transfer, only in the transportation and communication infrastructure of Bursa in the last 485 years. Karaismailoğlu said, “In 2003, there was 194 kilometers of divided road, 404 kilometers of newly divided road, we reached a total of 598 kilometers. "We have turned many roads such as Istanbul-Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Highway, Bursa Ring Highway, Bursa-İnegöl-Bozüyük-Ankara Border Road, Bursa-Karacabey Road, Bursa-Mudanya into divided roads."

"We are reuniting Bursa with railway comfort and speed"

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that they reunited Bursa with the comfort and speed of the railway years after the closure of the Bursa-Mudanya line with a law enacted in 1953.

“We are building a high-speed train line between Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli in connection with the Ankara-Istanbul YHT line. Currently, our construction works continue in two sections between Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli, which is 106 kilometers long. We achieved 56 percent physical progress in infrastructure works on the Bursa-Gölbaşı-Yenişehir line, the first section of 74,8 kilometers. We are also starting work between Yenişehir-Osmaneli, which is 50 kilometers long. "

"Metro line will provide transportation to Bursa City Hospital"

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that they have added a new one to their huge transportation investments with the 6-kilometer-long Emek-YHT Gar-City Hospital Metro Line, and stated that the metro line in Bursa will serve with 4 stations and citizens will be provided with transportation to Bursa City Hospital.

Karaismailoğlu said, “As you know, the construction of the Emek-YHT Train-City Hospital Metro Line has been taken over by our Ministry with the transfer protocol signed between Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and our Ministry on 8 June 2020. When our metro line is completed, the length of the rail system in Bursa province will reach 46,7 km from 52,7 km. The Emek-Arabayatağı Metro line currently in operation; "With the extension we will make, it will cross the Mudanya Boulevard and reach the YHT Station and finally the City Hospital, and it will make it easier for our citizens of Bursa to reach these directions."

Emphasizing that with the integration of Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli YHT line and metro, a comfortable and punctual option will be provided for high speed train access to all Bursa, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Within the scope of our project, a metro depot maintenance and parking facility will also be built on an area of ​​140 thousand square meters. . This new facility will also serve the maintenance-repair and parking needs of the city's entire metro vehicle fleet. Our line will be built with cut-and-cover method, and when finished, it will operate as a system that passes under the streets and does not occupy space on the surface ”.

"We aim to complete the line in 2023"

Stating that Bursa Emek-YHT Gar-Şehir Hospital Metro Line is planned to be completed in 2023, Minister Karasimailoğlu stated that with the commissioning of the line, huge financial gains will be achieved. Karaismailoğlu said, “In the 2023-year projection between 2050-27; $ 796.66 million from time, $ 58 million from highway maintenance and operation, $ 1.17 million from accidents to be prevented; "Our total economic gain will be $ 15.64 million, including $ 871.47 million from external benefits such as Air Pollution, Climate Change, Noise, Cost of Nature and Green Land, Biological Diversity, Soil and Water Pollution." Karaismailoğlu also stated that the carbon dioxide emission will decrease by 235.13 tons.

Minister Karaismailoğlu will also visit Bursa Governorship, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, AK Party Bursa Provincial Directorate and Bursa Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
