The German certification institute VDE awarded four models of the Samsung 10 Neo QLED TV Series, which have HDR features with an input lag value of less than 1000 ms and a brightness above 2021 nits, awarded the "Gaming Television Performance" certificate.
Samsung Electronics announced that the 2021 Neo QLED TV is the first television to be awarded the "Gaming Television Performance" certification by the prestigious German certification institute Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE).
Four models of the 2021 Neo QLED Series (QN900, QN800, QN90, QN85) were awarded the certificate with their "low input lag value" and "HDR with brightness over 1000 nits". Each of the TVs was certified after passing a rigorous testing phase, with an input lag of less than 10ms in all scenes of the games. Entry delay value; means the time it takes until an electrical signal transmitted by keyboard, mouse, joystick or gamepad is displayed on the screen while playing games. TVs with low input latency make a more immersive gaming experience possible for gamers.
Features that provide an immersive gaming experience
Another reason for Samsung Neo QLED TVs to receive this certification is that they have a brightness value above 1000 nits. HDR technology is generally known as one of the most important features of gamers. The FreeSync Premium Pro feature also strengthens HDR support. Bright images look brighter, dark images look darker, so the optimum contrast value is achieved.
Samsung's Neo QLED TVs offer many new and exciting gaming features, as well as low input lag and HDR support with over 1000 nits brightness. Samsung Neo QLED TVs provide finer details, deeper blacks and outstanding colors thanks to 100 percent color volume and 12-bit backlight control. Thanks to the pioneering Wide Game View and Joystick, there is a wider viewing experience in 21: 9 and 32: 9 screen widths, as well as the ability to quickly view game information.
Samsung Neo QLED TVs also provide a smooth game stream even when playing games with a fixed user interface at 120 Hz with Motion Xcelerator Turbo +. Thanks to the AI-supported surround sound and Object Tracking Audio (OTS +) features, it also provides players with an excellent immersive gaming experience thanks to the improved sound quality.
Younghun Choi, Vice President of Visual Display at Samsung Electronics, made the following statement on the subject: “Whenever gamers want to buy a TV, they prefer large screen televisions with high quality picture quality. As Samsung, we continue to lead the gaming experience on TV. "
