The biggest problem during Ramadan is thirst. Our body can resist hunger, but it is not resistant to thirst. In order for our body to create this balance, we can benefit from some drinks and foods.
Mineral water: Thanks to the minerals they contain, natural mineral waters help our body to be healthier and more energetic, as well as help us feel less thirsty during the day. One point to note here is that "natural mineral water" and "soda" are often confused with each other. When buying mineral water, look for the phrase "Natural Mineral Water".
Melon-Watermelon And Peach Compote: Since these fruits, which contain plenty of water, do not release the water immediately, they prevent the feeling of thirst for a longer period of time. Of course, nothing can replace drinking water directly, but it will be very beneficial to make and consume plenty of melon, watermelon and peach compote in addition to drinking plenty of water at sahur and iftar on these hot summer days.
Tomato and Cucumber: These vegetables, which contain approximately 95% of water, are also very effective in quenching thirst, such as melon and watermelon.
Date: In addition to the vitamins and minerals it contains, dates, which are a wonderful food with their fibrous structure, are a fruit that should not be missing from our tables during Ramadan. This fruit, which grows in regions close to desert climate, stands out with its thirst-quenching effect.
Buttermilk, Kefir and Yoghurt: It may be beneficial to drink salty buttermilk at iftar or after iftar to regain the water and salt that our body lost in the summer. If you are going to drink ayran in suhoor, if you are worried about the thirst-quenching effect of salt during the day, you can choose it in salt-free or low-salt ayran or kefir.

How is it prepared
Licorice root is washed and put into cheesecloth. Licorice root is crushed into a woody plant and turned into fiber or found in ready-made fiber. It is placed in 1 bowl and water is added to it. It is waited for 4-5 hours, it is filtered, oxygenated from the air, it is poured into a filter by foaming, filtered. Then this brown water is filtered through cheesecloth and drunk.
