While connecting our country with a high standard transportation system, we brought it closer to the world from every point. Today, we have an infrastructure that can meet all the changing transportation and communication needs of our country and our people. We develop this infrastructure further by focusing on logistics, mobility and digitalization, and we shoulder our holistic development. These investments, which ignite our economy, are returning in layers. Our investments had a total impact of 2003 billion dollars on gross domestic product and 2020 billion dollars on production between 395 and 837.7. We contributed to the realization of indirect or direct employment for an average of 1 million 20 thousand people annually ”.

Speaking to members of the press, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “In line with our Logistics Master Plan, our Transportation Master Plan and our 2023 Strategic Plan, we have created a mobility infrastructure that will connect our country with the world in every mode of transportation. In this process, railways and rail systems have always been in our focus. As the ministry, we have carried out very important works in an area that has not been built on stone for many years. It is as if we continue to knit Turkey with iron bars. We announced the railway reform in order to take our ongoing railway breakthrough in 2020 to the next level. Within the scope of this reform that will make our country a global logistics superpower, we have made the new Silk Railway a preferred commercial route in the world with our projects such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line. By connecting Europe and Asia with Marmaray once again, we became the ruler of the Middle Corridor. "We renewed all of our existing conventional lines and expanded the coverage area of our high-speed train lines, making travel between many of our cities comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly."
Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Today we came to Karaman with great good news. The infrastructure, superstructure, electrification and station arrangements in the 102-kilometer Konya-Karaman section of our Konya-Karaman-Ulukışla high-speed train line project have been completed. Finally, signaling, testing and certification processes continue successfully. God willing June We will start train operations in. Our line will also serve our electric conventional train services. Good luck to our high-speed train line. We continue to work to bring Karaman closer to Adana, another big city. "We will be able to travel at a speed of 200 km per hour on our line when the construction of all sections between Konya-Karaman-Mersin-Adana is completed."
