Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen announced that the price of Ramadan Pita, which was 2 Lira last year, was determined as 1 Lira 50 kuruş this year, taking into account the situation of our citizens in economic difficulties. Reminding that the purchasing power of citizens has decreased due to the pandemic, Mayor Büyükerşen added that he believes that the Bakers' Chamber will show the same sensitivity in determining the price of pita in the private sector.

Metropolitan Municipality Public Bread will bring pitas produced in a hygienic environment to Eskişehirs at affordable prices this Ramadan. Underlining that the purchasing power of citizens has decreased due to both the pandemic process and the economic crisis we are in, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen stated that for this reason, they will deliver the Ramadan pita produced in the Public Bread Facilities to the citizens at the most affordable price. Mayor Büyükerşen said, “As the Metropolitan Municipality, we continue to extend our helping hand to our citizens in need with our social aids and projects. In Ramadan, which is the month of unity, solidarity and solidarity, we set our price for Halk Ekmek Pide as 1 Lira 50 Kuruş in order to support the family economy of our fellow citizens. The Ramadan pita, which will be produced in 280 grams, will be presented to our citizens 6 days a week through our 48 kiosks. " said.

Considering the economic situation of the citizens, Mayor Büyükerşen made a call to the Bakers' Chamber and said, “Ramadan is a month of brotherhood and solidarity. We can bring abundance to the tables of our citizens, who have been experiencing great difficulties for more than a year due to the pandemic, in this meaningful month. For this reason, I believe that our Bakers' Chamber will review the pita prices, which are determined as 1 Lira, and I hope that our bakers will support this issue in order to make the people of Eskişehir smile ”.
