In this context, a tender was held for the construction of the "Dilovası Multi-Storey Parking Lot and Indoor Market Place", which is one of the most important needs of the district. The first step was taken with the tender for the project, which will last 390 days after the site delivery.

Multi-storey car park and market place, one of the most important needs of Dilovası district, will be built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Cumhuriyet Quarter with 4 floors. The project, which will be built at a point close to Çardaktepe Mosque, has an area of 3 thousand 33 square meters, while the total construction area has been determined as 7 thousand 398 square meters.
6 DAYS A WEEK PARKING WILL BE USED FOR 1 DAY SUNDAY
The modern building to be built within the scope of the project, which will add value to the district, will serve citizens as a parking lot 6 days a week and a market place for 1 day. Within the scope of the planning, the building will be built in four floors, including ground floor, 1st basement, 2nd basement and 3rd basement. Within the scope of the project, there will be a 57-vehicle parking lot and market place on the ground floor, and a 1-vehicle parking lot and a market place on the 53st basement floor. There will be a parking lot for 2 vehicles on the 38nd basement floor and police and headman rooms, a prayer room for men and women, an electricity room, a WC and a parking lot for 3 vehicles on the 17rd basement.
AN IMPORTANT NEED OF THE DISTRICT WILL BE MET
The biggest market of Dilovası district is established on İbn-i Sina Street in Cumhuriyet District. At the same time, the market set up on Ibn-i Sina Street, one of the busiest streets of the district, caused traffic density in the district center. The Multi-Storey Car Park and Covered Market Place, which will be implemented by the Metropolitan Municipality, will also ease the traffic of the district with its more modern and orderly form. With the project, both parking and market place needs of citizens living in the district will be met.
