Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Unye Container Port Project, which is the mega project of Mehmet Hilmi Güler that will bring Ordu to the age, continues without slowing down.

A new one is being added to the container ports developed with the rapidly increasing maritime transportation worldwide. In the project of 6 million, which was initiated in Ordu under the leadership of President Güler, which will facilitate exports to the Black Sea countries and Turkic Republics and is planned to be larger than the ports of 50 countries on the Black Sea coast, a great distance has been covered with the work done.

ADDITIONAL RIHTIM IS BEING BUILT

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its works in Ünye Port, is carrying out construction works to increase the number of ships waiting in the open to 1. The teams are currently building a second dock with a depth of 5 meters next to the existing loading-unloading dock with a depth of 6,5 meters. While the teams carry out dredging work in the area where the dock will be built in order to increase the depth of the port and allow ships with high tonnage to arrive, they continue to place concrete slabs in front of the in-water concrete blocks that have been manufactured simultaneously and continue the backfill production.

CONTAINER AREA AND RO-RO, SILO STORAGES WILL BE BUILT

In the project, which was initiated to reveal the container port of the future, filling work will be carried out in the part where the breakwater is located. In the first stage, the work of filling the 380 decare area in the Unye Port will take place on the 80 decare area. Container, silo warehouses, Ro-Ro area, bulk cargo and storage area will be built on this 80-acre area.

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is investing 50 million in Ünye Container Port Project, which is planned to be completed in a year and a half and will be the exit gate of the Black Sea-Mediterranean Road.
