ŠKODA renewed the KODIAQ model, which was the first model that started the SUV offensive and achieved global success in a short time. Achieving to take KODIAQ's remarkable design further, ŠKODA developed its model belonging to the D-SUV segment in every aspect. The renewed KODIAQ Škoda model, since August, also will be sold in Turkey.
New look and new technologies
Representing the evolution of the brand's design language, the renewed KODIAQ stands out with a more emotional and confident design. With the updated hardware options, KODIAQ is equipped with aluminum effect design elements at the front and rear. With this design, the power and off-road style of the vehicle will be emphasized more.
In the redesigned front section of the KODIAQ, the upgraded hood and new ŠKODA grille further enhance the bold stance of the vehicle. In this large SUV model, LED headlights will be offered as standard, while the FULL LED headlight group will be offered with Matrix features. The narrower headlights stand out as a characteristic element of KODIAQ's stylish design.
The new alloy wheels enhance the vehicle's dynamic stance and appeal, while the redesigned front and rear bumpers, new glossy black rear spoiler and winglets on the sides of the rear windows reduce the KODIAQ's air friction and contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
In the renewed rear design, the third brake light is integrated with the spoiler, while the rear window is a little narrower. In this way, the dynamic appearance of the SUV was strengthened, while the stop lamp group was produced with a thinner and sharper design. The tail lights are striking with their crystalline design and the ŠKODA-specific C shape has also taken its place as usual.
Higher comfort in the renewed cabin
ŠKODA has managed to further develop the KODIAQ cabin, which is already of high comfort and quality. With new decorative stripes, additional contrast stitching details and enhanced LED ambient lighting features, the feel and look of the interior has taken a new dimension.
For those looking for more comfort, ergonomic, perforated leather, electrically adjustable, ventilated and massage seats may also be preferred. In addition, the eco-friendly Eco seats, which can be purchased as an option, feature high-quality seat covers made of vegan and recycled materials. In addition, in line with the current situation, KODIAQ can be preferred with optional 7 seat options.
In KODIAQ, which draws attention with its technological features, the touch screen is taken as 8 inches or 9.2 inches depending on the hardware. With wireless SmartLink technology, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, smartphones can be easily paired with KODIAQ. In addition to the wireless charging feature, mobile devices can be connected and charged via modern USB-C ports. The Digital Display Panel, which visually complements the high technology level offered by the interior, will allow for personalization by the choice of different interfaces. KODIAQ, which draws attention with its additional safety features, offers many active safety support systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Reverse Warning Assist.
The most modern engines in the renewed KODIAQ
The modern engines of the ŠKODA KODIAQ come from the most up-to-date and even more efficient EVO family power units. The KODIAQ has two diesel and three petrol engine options, and the power range extends from 150 HP to 245 HP. The 1.5 TSI 150 HP engine, which will be offered as an entry level in our country, is combined with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The RS version with the 2.0 TSI 245 PS combination will represent the top of the product range.
The performance of the KODIAQ RS has also been improved
KODIAQ RS, a member of ŠKODA's RS family, has also been renewed to offer higher performance. The new 2.0 TSI EVO petrol engine offers 2.0 HP more power than the 240 TDI 5 HP engine it replaces. With black body details and new aerodynamically optimized 20-inch Sagitarius alloy wheels, this sporty KODIAQ model shows at first glance that it belongs to the ŠKODA RS product family. While LED Matrix headlights are standard on the KODIAQ RS, black Suedia sports seats inside create a unique atmosphere with red stitching. The black diamond stitched door panels used inside support the sense of sportiness.

KODIAQ, which started ŠKODA's SUV offensive in 2016, achieved a unique reputation all over the world with its emotional design, high-quality workmanship, spacious interior and comfort. The model, which won the appreciation of consumers and automotive experts, proved its success in a short time with over 600 thousand sales.
The production of KODIAQ, which has become a true global model with intense interest from all over the world, is carried out in China, India and Russia, as well as ŠKODA's Kvasiny factory in the Czech Republic. KODIAQ, which will be supplied to our country only from the Kvasiny factory, is currently sold in around 60 markets globally.
Completing 2019 and 2020 as the leader in its segment, KODIAQ aims to increase the success of the brand in the D-SUV segment.
