Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, made investigations and made statements to the press in the construction of Bakırköy-Bahçelievler-Kirazlı Metro Line in Istanbul. Karaismailoğlu said, "Ankara-Sivas and Konya-Karaman YHT line will be put into service in the near future".
Stating that they have renewed the entire conventional railway line of 19 km in the last 11 years, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that they have built 590 kilometers of high-speed train line. Karaismailoğlu stated that they will open the Ankara-Sivas and Konya-Karaman High Speed Train line in the near future.
Karaismailoğlu said, “With the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line project, we have had a say in the world railroad transportation in a short time. With this line, our country has become the most strategic connection point of the middle corridor from Beijing to London and the Iron Silk Road. While all these projects were implemented within the scope of the Railway Reform we announced, we created a national and domestic railway industry, ”he said.
