Minister Karaismailoğlu visited the Alanya Eastern Ring Road Construction Site in Antalya and made observations.

Karaismailoğlu said, “When the Alanya Eastern Ring Road is completed, the passage distance, which is currently 18 kilometers, will decrease to 15 kilometers, and the travel time will be reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes. With the project, we will save a total of 191 million lira, of which 730 million 27 thousand liras from time and 358 million 219 thousand liras from fuel, ”he said.

Adil Karaismailoğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, came to Antalya for a series of visits and examinations. Minister Karaismailoğlu, who visited the Alanya Eastern Ring Road Construction Site, stated that with the completion of the Alanya Eastern Ring Road Project, 219 million liras will be saved annually; He reported that the total cost of 14 ongoing highway projects in Antalya exceeded 7 billion 95 million.

Stating that Antalya and all of its districts continue to invest in infrastructure in order to be a leader in agriculture, industry and trade as well as in tourism, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that Antalya's access to new infrastructure will increase the number of tourists and contribute to its development and economy.

Karaismailoğlu said, “Our country is a country that grows in every field, realizes important strategic projects, and has become one of the main playmakers not only in its region but also in the global level with its investments. We are in the heart of Europe-Asia and Africa, which is the fastest growing and almost the new economic center of the world in terms of both production and consumption. "We are implementing our huge projects to turn our country into a logistics superpower with the aim of transforming this geographical advantage into gains."

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that Antalya will receive the share it deserves from the investments made, and stated that they have spent a total of 2 billion 264 million lira, 21 billion 887 million of which is within the scope of build-operate transfer, for the transportation and communication investments of Antalya so far.

Karaismailoğlu said, “In 2003, while there were only 197 kilometers of divided roads in our city, we increased the length of the road in this standard to 468 kilometers by making 665 kilometers more. While 1993 billion 2002 million lira was spent for highway works in Antalya between 4 and 342, this amount reached 295 billion 17 million lira with an increase of 132 percent during the period of our governments. Today, the total cost of the 14 major highway projects continuing throughout the province of Antalya has exceeded 7 billion 95 million lira ”.

Underlining that Antalya and the surrounding provinces will develop further with the completion of the highway investments, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the total length of the Alanya Eastern Ring Road Project, which was started in 2006, is 15 kilometers and the cost is 607 million 825 thousand TL.

Karaismailoğlu continued his speech as follows: “We completed the 5 kilometers of our road that will pass from the north of the existing coastal road between Hasbahçe-Kagıcak, divided and with bituminous hot coating. The total length of the Dim, Oba and Mahmutlar tunnels, which are the 3 double tube tunnels we built within the scope of the project, is 5 thousand 195 meters. When the Alanya Eastern Ring Road is completed, the passage distance of 18 kilometers will decrease to 15 kilometers, and the travel time will be reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes. On the other hand, the transition speed will increase from 36 kilometers per hour to 90 kilometers per hour. In the year with the project; We will save a total of 191 million TL, including 730 million 27 thousand TL from time and 358 million 219 thousand TL from fuel. We will prevent an annual average of over 11 thousand tons of carbon dioxide emission together with our ring road. "

Within the scope of his visit to Antalya, Minister Karaismailoğlu, who visited Alanya Municipality, AK Party District Presidency, Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Rectorate, Antalya Governorship, will also visit the AK Party Antalya Provincial Directorate. Karaismailoğlu will finally meet with students at Antalya Science University.
