Bayraktar AKINCI Offensive Unmanned Aerial Vehicle successfully completed the altitude and speed tests.

The third prototype of the AKINCI Assault UAV, PT-3, which was developed locally and nationally by Baykar Defense, successfully completed another test. In his post on the official Twitter address of Baykar Defense, “Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA tests continue. Bayraktar AKINCI PT-3 successfully completed the high altitude and high speed tests today! " made statements.

Speaking after the test flight, Baykar Defense Technical Manager Selçuk Bayraktar stated that the Akıncı PT-3 completed the high altitude and high speed tests and returned to the hangar by completing the pass-down landing trials.

Mass Production AKINCI TİHA

In the video that Selçuk Bayraktar shared in January 2021, while walking inside the BAYKAR facilities, the AKINCI Offensive UAV platform, which entered the mass production process, is among the vehicles reflected in the camera. In the video in question, in addition to AKINCI TİHA, which will enter the inventory in 2021, 3 prototypes of Flying Car CEZERİ, 2 ​​prototypes of the new generation Bayraktar DİHA, which is still mass production, and Bayraktar TB2 SİHA systems.

Journalist İbrahim Haskoloğlu held an interview with Baykar Defense General Manager Haluk Bayraktar on Twitch on February 27, 2021. Haluk Bayraktar stated in the interview that the Akıncı Assault UAV will enter the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces in 2021. He added that Akıncı could serve in different forces. He said that the Akinci UAV had a 2500 km radius range for attack purposes and a 5000 km operating radius for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR).

He also stated that Akıncı Assault UAV will hide itself thanks to the electronic warfare system and will show itself in a different place on the radar. He said that Akıncı has alternatives for its engines and that his choice is now Black Sea Shield (Baykar-Ivchenko Progress joint venture) AI-450T engines.

On November 27, 2020, in the statement made by the Vice President Fuat Oktay at the Parliament's Plan and Budget Committee, it was stated that AKINCI TİHA's test activities for mass production have reached the final stage. In a post made by Baykar Defense on December 6, 2020, it was stated that AKINCI TİHA successfully completed 61 different tests in about a year since its first flight.
