Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is implementing another exemplary project. In this context, the foundation construction has been completed in the Children's Traffic Education Park, which was established on an area of 17 thousand 473 square meters located next to Izmit South Terminal.
FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED
With the Children's Traffic Education Park Project carried out by the Parks and Gardens Department, it is aimed to create a traffic culture in children at an early age. In this context, the foundation construction, steel carcass fabrication and ytong wall fabrication of the project have been completed.
TRAFFIC TRACK
The mechanical installation works and roof covering of the building were completed by the Park and Gardens teams. Pedestrian crossings, signalized and roundabout junctions, bicycle and vehicle roads, railway crossings, traffic signs and signs will be made in the Children's Traffic Education Park, where interior plaster is produced. When the Children's Traffic Education Park is completed, training will be given to children between the ages of 7-12.
THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL EDUCATION
In the administrative building of 300 square meters, there will be classroom areas where children can receive theoretical education. Administrative staff offices, warehouse for vehicles to be used in practical training on the driving track, and other areas of use are also included in the Children's Traffic Education Park Project.
