Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality also reorganized public transportation services after the decisions taken by the Provincial General Hygiene Board within the scope of the Gradual Normalization Process. Due to the curfew restriction to be applied on the weekend, the trams will not work, and public transport will be provided by buses.

With the measures taken due to the increase in the number of cases, there have been changes in public transportation. In this context, while restrictions on public transportation are imposed on citizens aged 65 and over and citizens under 20, citizens who are within the scope of exemption (hospital appointment, face-to-face training, work, children with special needs, etc.) will be taken into vehicles if they document that they are within the scope of exemption. The Metropolitan Municipality, which also regulates the number of trips due to curfew restrictions, announced that the trams will not work on the weekend due to the restrictions, and public transportation will be provided by buses on the newly arranged departure times. In addition, district buses and central rural neighborhood buses will not operate at the weekend due to the restriction.

Reminding that the Hes Code process continues in public transportation, Metropolitan Municipality officials stated that citizens can easily access tram and bus times from the Quick Menu section of the municipality's website (www.eskisehir.bel.tr).
