The 4th of the Way of Mind in Transportation Awards, which is organized every year to support people, institutions and organizations working in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (AUS), was held within the scope of the SUMMITS International AUS Summit. Konya Metropolitan Municipality was awarded with "Public Transport Line Management System" in the field of Municipalities Awards.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay said that they closely follow the developments in technology and integrate them into daily life and work to facilitate the lives of citizens in public transportation. Mayor Altay said, “Our award-winning Line Management System is a public transportation analysis and management platform using innovative, big data technologies that will improve the service our citizens receive in public transportation and ensure that the investments to be made in public transportation meet the needs of our citizens. Line Management System, which enables the understanding of public transport activity in Konya from the stop level to the public transport network of the whole city with up-to-date data; It forms the basis of a sustainable public transportation system where the transportation needs of our citizens are at the forefront. I wish the award we received will be beneficial for our city. " said.
While the SUMMITS International AUS Summit will be postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic, the awards will be presented at the ICSG'4 5th International Smart Grids and Cities Congress and Fair to be held in Istanbul on June 2021-21, 8.
