On the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş. a child is holding a painting contest. Competition may be Turkey's first Nuclear Power Plant is the first to have been built all over Turkey, including children participate in Mersin province will be held at national level.
The competition, which will be held between 1 - 15 April 2021, will be able to participate in two categories for children aged 6 to 14 and for ages 6 to 10 and 11 to 14. An electronic certificate will be sent to all participants as a memory of the competition. Five winners will be determined in each category, drawing sets and souvenir gifts from AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş. will be presented to the winners, and the right to participate in a one-month online painting course.
The pictures of the contestants will be scored in terms of technical performance, artistic expression and compatibility with the contest theme. This year's contest theme will be "Clean Energy for a Clean Future". Participants should underline the importance of building nuclear power plants in terms of meeting the increasing energy demand, and emphasize the role of nuclear energy as a non-greenhouse gas-generating power source, thus protecting the environment for future generations.
To participate in the contest, a scan of the picture or a photo must be prepared and sent to the e-mail address of info-mersin@akkuyu.com with the title of "AKKUYU NUCLEAR Painting Contest". Applications for the contest can be submitted from 01 April 2021 until 15 April 2021. In order to participate in the contest, it is mandatory to add a form with the photo of the participant, name, surname, age, institution of education, name of the painting and address information to which the prizes will be sent in case of winning a prize. In this form, also the legal representative of the contest participant must give consent for the processing of the personal information of the participant. The work of the participants will be shared on the official Instagram and Facebook pages of AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş. with the following tags: #akkuyu, # akkuyunirdek, # Akkuyu23April, # TemizGelecekİçinTemizEnerji and # AkkuyuPicture Competition.
The results of the competition will be determined until April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day and will be announced on the website of AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş. and Facebook and Instagram accounts. The competition jury will consist of the employees of the Public Information Center of AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş.
