Airbus and Türk Hava Yolları Teknik A.Ş. cooperated in the A350 Component Repair and Spare Support Program to provide Flight Time Based Component Services to Turkish Airlines' A350 aircraft fleet.
Airbus and Türk Hava Yolları Teknik A.Ş. signed a long-term component repair and replacement support agreement for Turkish Airlines' A350 aircraft fleet.
Under the agreement, Airbus will provide repair and guaranteed backup support for A350 aircraft components, and will have components for urgent needs at Turkish Technic's headquarters in Istanbul.
Under this agreement, Airbus is expanding its existing component replacement presence in Europe to include A350 aircraft components for future Time-of-Flight Component Maintenance Services in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).
Turkish Airlines will benefit from Airbus' knowledge and expertise of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the A2021 aircraft from March 350. This agreement will provide more cooperation opportunities between the two companies in the field of technical services.
This new contract marks the ongoing success of Airbus' Time-of-Flight Maintenance Services with more than 850 aircraft worldwide.
