Hyundai BAYOU Introduced B-SUV will be produced in Turkey

The new SUV model, which Hyundai will produce in Izmit and export to more than 40 European countries, has been introduced. Named after Bayonne, France, the brand's new b-segment SUV model 'Bayon' will be offered for sale with mild hybrid engines. The car, which has semi-autonomous driving features, has 84, 100 and 120 horsepower options.

The vehicle, developed entirely for the European market, will be produced in Izmit and exported to Europe. Continuing the strategy of city names in Hyundai's existing SUV models, the B-SUV model Bayon takes its name from Bayonne, the capital of the Basque Country in France.

Bayon, the latest design product in the Hyundai SUV family, draws attention with its lighting group consisting of three parts. According to the statement, behind the car is a design line that has never been used in any Hyundai model before.

Bayon, which will enter the production line with a total of nine exterior color options, will feature wheels with diameters of 15, 16 and 17 inches depending on the equipment level. It is stated that the vehicle can be optionally purchased with a two-tone roof color.

The car, which has a 10.25 inch digital display and a 10.25 inch information screen, has an 8 inch screen according to the equipment. There is LED ambient lighting in the cockpit, door handles and storage pockets. The car, which will be available in three different interior colors, also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. The wheelbase of the car, which is described as 4 thousand 180 mm in length, 775 mm in width and 490 mm in height, is 2 thousand 580 mm. The car has 411 liters of luggage space.

The domestic SUV with semi-autonomous driving features can be received with technologies such as Lane Keeping Assist (LFA) and Front Collision Prevention Assistant (FCA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Vehicle Departure Warning (LVDA), Rear Passenger Warning (ROA).

Under the hood of Bayon are engines with 48-volt mild hybrid technology (48V). This technology, which can be selected with 100 and 120 horsepower and offered with a 1.0-liter T-GDi engine, can be purchased with a 6-speed manual (6iMT) or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
