Within the scope of Konya-Karaman Ulukışla YHT Project, the signaling system installations on the Konya-Karaman High Speed ​​Train line have been completed. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that test drives on the 237-kilometer section of the Konya-Karaman line, which was completed within the scope of the 102-kilometer Konya-Karaman Ulukışla (Niğde) High Speed ​​Train Project, had begun last month.

Within the scope of the project, it is planned to construct a high speed train line between Konya, Karaman and Adana at a speed of 200 km / h and transfer the cargoes coming from Konya and Ulukışla to Mersin and İskenderun ports faster. The line capacity, which is 34 pairs of trains per day, will increase 3 times. Travel time from 1 hour 15 minutes between Konya and Karaman will be reduced to 35 minutes.
