The test drives and controls on the Konya-Karaman High Speed Train line, whose signaling system installations were completed, started as of February 8, continue.
Within the scope of Konya-Karaman Ulukışla YHT Project, the signaling system installations on the Konya-Karaman High Speed Train line have been completed. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that test drives on the 237-kilometer section of the Konya-Karaman line, which was completed within the scope of the 102-kilometer Konya-Karaman Ulukışla (Niğde) High Speed Train Project, had begun last month.
Within the scope of the project, it is planned to construct a high speed train line between Konya, Karaman and Adana at a speed of 200 km / h and transfer the cargoes coming from Konya and Ulukışla to Mersin and İskenderun ports faster. The line capacity, which is 34 pairs of trains per day, will increase 3 times. Travel time from 1 hour 15 minutes between Konya and Karaman will be reduced to 35 minutes. Railway connection of Mersin Port and Yenice Logistics Center will be strengthened. Test drives and controls continue on the Konya-Karaman YHT line,
