Stating that the Ankara-Sivas line is approaching the end, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “We are doing our final tests on our line. Karaismailoğlu added that with the completion of the line, the travel time between Ankara and Izmir will decrease to 3 hours 30 minutes.

Thanks to this method used, for the first time in Turkey, we will construct both the main tunnel to be used by the high-speed train and the safety tunnel to be used in pedestrian, ambulance and maintenance services within the same tube. In other words, we are building two floors in a single tunnel. Moreover, it is large in terms of both time and cost. kazanWe will provide three. Under normal circumstances, with the conventional method, only the main tunnel can be completed in 24 months, but we will complete both the main tunnel and the security tunnel in 12 months.”
