2 people were injured in the accident in which two trams traveling on the same line in Kayseri collided head on. According to the information obtained, the accident occurred on the tram route in Melikgazi district İldem Cumhuriyet District at night. In the incident, trams numbered 3854-B and 2846-A on the same rail that went to the warehouse in the direction of Ildem collided head-on while they were cruising to the warehouse on a single line. The driver of a tram and a passenger were injured in the accident.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene with the notice of the people around. The medical teams who came to the accident site took the 2 injured people to the Kayseri City Hospital. Heavy damage occurred in both trams in the accident.
