Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated that they have started the "Turnover Loss Support" payments for businesses operating in the food and beverage service sector and adversely affected by the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic.

Minister Pekcan gave information about "Turnover Loss Support" in his post on his Twitter account.

Stating that applications for support are ongoing, Pekcan said, “Our businesses, which are engaged in food and beverage service activities adversely affected by the epidemic, can make their applications via e-Government until March 31 at 23.59. Best wishes." used the expressions.

Businesses that can benefit from support

In line with the regulations on the subject, the turnover in the calendar year 2019 is 2019 million lira and below and the turnover in 27 is 2021 percent or more compared to the turnover in the year in question. Businesses, which have a reduced rate of value added tax and are liable for value added tax, are paid only once to benefit from their main field of activity.

In this context, revenue loss support payments are made to these enterprises at the rate of 2 percent of the reduced amount of their turnover, not less than 40 thousand lira and not more than 3 thousand lira.

In addition, payments to businesses that deserve revenue loss support and turnover loss support together are made by deducting income loss support.

If the turnover loss support is more than the income loss support, the excess is paid to the beneficiary.
