Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, said, “The countdown has begun on Gallipoli Eceabat Road, which we plan to open next year. The construction work of the 5,7-kilometer section, including the Bigalıdere Bridge on our way, has been completed. I wish Gelibolu Eceabat Road to be instrumental in new investments, business opportunities, abundance and abundance to come to our city ”.

Noting that a budget of 20 billion 69 million lira has been transferred in the last nineteen years, including build-operate-transfer projects for transportation and communication investments in Çanakkale, Minister Karaismailoğlu continued his words as follows:

“One of the most important highway investments we have made in Çanakkale is Gelibolu-Eceabat Road, which we have studied together today. Now we can easily say that the countdown has begun on our way, which we plan to put into service next year. We have completed 47,5 kilometers of our divided road project, which is 26,5 kilometers in length. In addition, we put T1, T1A and T2 Tunnels into service. The construction work of the 5,7-kilometer section, including the Bigalıdere Bridge on our way, has been completed. From now on, I wish Gelibolu Eceabat Road to be instrumental in new investments, job opportunities, abundance and abundance in our city. "

Çanakkale will connect with Europe quickly and economically

Karaismailoğlu, who stated that the important highway investments continuing in Çanakkale are being carried out meticulously, said, “We currently have 10 important highway investments in Çanakkale province. As you know, one of these projects is the Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Highway Project. Malkara-Çanakkale Motorway and 1915 Çanakkale Bridge are also components of this project. This 88-kilometer-long highway, with 13 kilometers of highways and 101 kilometers of connection roads, is very precious for the future of our city. What is done for Çanakkale, our pupil, is never enough. We will continue to serve the people of Çanakkale with many more projects and works, ”he said.

Minister Karaismailoğlu will attend the 18 March martyrs commemoration program after his visit to Gallipoli Eceabat Road Construction Site. Karaismailoğlu, who will continue his Çanakkale contacts after the commemoration, will make examinations at the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge Lapseki Construction Site.
