Samsun call for unity for the steep railway

CHP Army Deputy Dr. Stating that the Samsun-Sarp Railway line should be built, Mustafa Adıgüzel reacted to the issue of shifting the line to other provinces.

Adıgüzel, who brought the issue to the agenda in his meeting with Ordu Governor Tuncay Sonel, also made a phone call with the CHP's regional deputies, Giresun and Ordu AK Party deputies and Democrat Party Army Deputy and asked for support for the coastal route. Mustafa Adıgüzel, who stated that the idea that the government and opposition came together at the provincial level first came together and then all the deputies of the region came together and brought the issue to the executive authorities, stated that the Black Sea should be handled as a whole and that the railway line should be considered for both citizens' transportation and tourism. stated that it is very important for its development.

THE COAST ROAD IS CLOSED FOR 10 YEARS

Making a statement about the railway project, Adıgüzel said: “Due to the geographical features of the Black Sea consisting of high mountain ranges, there is no alternative road other than the existing double road, most of which is built with filling. With two lanes in each direction, it is not even possible to make additional lanes to the existing road. It is obvious that this road will be insufficient before it reaches 10 years. The freight on the road must be distributed among alternative transport networks. Therefore, Samsun-Sarp railway line is an inevitable need for our Black Sea provinces.

THERE ARE TWO SOLID POPULATIONS OUTSIDE THE BLACK SEA

There are 32 districts on the coastline consisting of Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize and Artvin. Among these districts, Çarşamba, Akçaabat, Ünye, Fatsa, Bulancak, Terme, Tekkeköy and Araklı districts have more than 50 thousand populations and are larger than some provinces in our country. The total population of 6 provinces is 3 million 900 thousand. In addition, the population living in the region outside the region is home to 2 times as much as the general population in Turkey, added to the resident population density of population in the summer brings added additional transportation. While the railway from Samsun to Sarp passes directly through the coastline where 80 percent of this population lives, it will also serve the whole population directly.

STRONG RELATIONSHIP RELATIONS WILL NOT BE EMPTY

All provinces in the Black Sea, from Samsun to Artvin, and even in districts located on the coast, have close kinship relations. The population structure of many provinces consists of people coming from all the provinces of the Black Sea. For example, if there is a train transportation to Trabzon or Rize, the demand of incoming passengers to come from Giresun, Ordu and Samsun is very high. The opposite is the same from east to west.

SAMSUN-BOLAMAN IS ONE THREE OF THE LINE

As far as we know, there is a rail system planning between Samsun and Bolaman. This line will already have formed 3/1 of the Samsun-Sarp Railway line that should be planned. Continuing this forward means the Samsun-Sarp railway. It means meeting them all in one route.

IS ALSO IMPORTANT FOR TRADE AND TOURISM

This line, which has an international connection through Georgia and has a serious tourism potential, will be preferred by foreign tourists to establish a connection to Giresun, Ordu and Samsun. In addition, it is extremely important that this railway line, which has a high tourism potential, will form connection points for cruise tourism with the ports on the Black Sea coast.

The Black Sea region is a promising region in terms of nature, gastronomy, plateau, history and ski tourism. The facilitation of transportation will make a great contribution in terms of utilizing the tourism potential and providing foreign currency inflow to our country. "
