I Order You to Die, Not Attack

I command you not to attack
I command you not to attack

Istanbul Provincial Representative of Öz Transport-İş Union, Yasin Sevgili, published a message on the occasion of '18 March Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs' Memorial Day'. Dear used the following expressions:

Çanakkale is the name of the epic of the resurrection of a new soul… This victory, embodied in the words of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, “I am not attacking you, I command you to die”, is the most important indicator of what the Turkish nation can sacrifice for the sake of its independence. This victory, which was achieved through great sacrifices amid impossibilities, gave us a sense of pride, courage and self-confidence, and showed the whole world what we can achieve as a nation, no matter how difficult the conditions are.

The most important task that falls to us today is to take care of the trust of our ancestors, who saved this homeland from enemy occupation by covering their bodies.

With these feelings and thoughts, I remember with mercy and gratitude our saint martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades.

Rest their souls, let their places be heaven. "
