Central Bank Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu started his duty. Kavcioglu, a written statement, determined by the law of the Central Bank of Turkey tasks and providing permanent decline in inflation in the framework of the authority's main goal in line with monetary policy tools pointed out that it will continue to use effectively.
"The decline in inflation will positively affect macroeconomic stability through the decline in country risk premiums and permanent improvement in financing costs, while contributing to the creation of the necessary conditions for sustainable growth that increases investment, production, exports and employment. Kavcıoğlu, who used the statement, said:
"In this context, the Monetary Policy Committee meetings will be held in accordance with the schedule previously announced to the public, and communication channels with all stakeholders will be used effectively in line with the principles of transparency and predictability in policies to be implemented."
