The airline has increased its flights to Maldives and Seychelles from popular destinations in the Indian Ocean to meet passenger demand and offer passengers more pre-vacation flexibility and options.

Emirates announced that it will increase the number of flights to Maldives and Seychelles, one of the popular destinations. Starting March 28, the airline will operate 28 flights a week to Male and seven flights a week to Mahe. These additional flights will meet the passenger demand and offer more flexibility, choice and connectivity when planning their vacation.

'Fly Better' to the Maldives

Emirates currently flies 777 flights a week to the Maldives on its Boeing 300-24ER aircraft. From March 28 to April 18, the airline will now operate 28 flights per week to offer passengers more connectivity to these popular destinations in the Indian Ocean via Dubai.

All passengers traveling to the Maldives must submit a negative COVID ‑ 96 PCR test result up to 19 hours prior to departure. Passengers are required to complete the online Immigration and Health Proficiency Statement form 24 hours prior to arrival.

'Fly Better' to Seychelles

Emirates is expanding its Dubai - Mahe flights from five to seven flights a week, with its Boeing 28-30ER aircraft from 2021 March to 777 October 300. The announcement was made after the island country reopened its borders to international travelers, without the need for vaccination or quarantine, starting March 25.
