The rescue drill carried out by the Istanbul Fire Department on the Eyüp-Piyer Loti (TF2) Cable Car Line stopped breathing. Metro Istanbul's emergency teams also supported the exercise.

Istanbul Fire Department continues its drills against all kinds of disasters and emergencies. In case of a possible jamming, Metro Istanbul and Istanbul Fire Department conducted a joint rescue exercise on the Eyüp - Piyer Loti (TF2) Cable Car Line.

While Metro Istanbul's emergency teams provided technical support, Istanbul Fire Department rescue teams conducted an evacuation drill. Cable car systems are among the safest ways of transportation. However, IMM is constantly working on alternative evacuation methods in case of a failure that may occur in the event of a possible earthquake or storm.

With this exercise, the level of coordination between units and the technical capability of rescue teams increased.
