Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Council authorized the Metropolitan Municipality to sign a cooperation protocol for the construction of the Kartepe Cable Car Line within the framework of the Industry Cooperation Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
The second session of the first meeting of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality March assembly meeting was held at Kocaeli Congress Center. 14 agenda items were discussed at the meeting chaired by Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Yaşar Çakmak due to the contacts of Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın in Ankara.
No Obstacle Left for Kartepe Cable Car Tender
The elections for the members of the Commission on the Determination of Rural Areas, which were brought to the agenda and established in the last session of the Assembly, were held unanimously. Sadullah Keleş, Mustafa Soydabaş for the commission. İsmail Aysu, Enes Aydınlı, Halil İbrahim Başçiftçi, Halis Koç, Ertam Peker, Nurcan Acaroğlu Göktaş and Mustafa Gürsoy were elected. In the Assembly, President Tahir Büyükakın was authorized to sign a cooperation protocol for the construction of Kartepe Cable Car Line to be included in the Industry Cooperation Program with the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Thus, there was no obstacle for the ropeway tender.
