Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has extended the period of free use of public transportation for healthcare workers, who are the heroes of the pandemic process, until the end of Ramadan.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality continues to support health heroes, who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus, and who work devotedly by being deprived of their families, children and loved ones. The Metropolitan Municipality, which has always been with healthcare workers with accommodation, free use of public transportation, vitamin C support packages and Health Heroes Memorial Forest, extended the period of free use of public transportation until May 16, 2021.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which gave healthcare workers the right to use public transportation for free in March last year, restarted the application, which ended on July 1, 2020, on October 23, 2020, when the pandemic peaked. The duration of the application, in which a total of 24 thousand 628 people received health worker cards, was extended until May 16, 2021.
