1980-1989: the ban period

At the end of the trial, the court fined Ersoy, but when Ersoy objected to the decision, the case was moved to the Supreme Court. On March 25, 2008, the Court of Appeals upheld the local court's decision and ordered Bülent Ersoy to pay 15 lira in non-pecuniary damage to Baykal, including interest.

Lawsuit filed due to his views on military service
