IETT continues to integrate its existing lines with metro lines. Lines 46H, 52 and 59B were connected to M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro line and the journey was made free of charge.
IETT reviews its existing lines within the framework of its strategic vision and makes new plans according to criteria such as the number of trips, line length or shortness. In this context, 3 more lines were integrated with the metro line.
The 27H Hürriyet Mahallesi - Beyazıt line, which takes about 46 minutes in one direction, was shortened by integrating it into the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro line in order to increase the efficiency of the voyage. The code of the line was changed to HM3 and it was planned to travel between Hürriyet Mahallesi and Şişli Center.
The number 5 Konaklar Mahallesi - 52. Levent line, whose journey takes an average of 4 minutes, has been integrated into the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro line, which runs in parallel. The code of the line has been changed to HM2.
Likewise, the 14B Levent Basın Sitesi-Şişli line with a journey time of 59 minutes was also integrated into the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro line and the code of the line was changed to HM4.
The change in all 3 lines will be implemented as of Friday, February 12, 2021.
Transfers to the new integrated lines from M2 Metro are free of charge, whereas transfers to the subway in the opposite direction will be paid.
