This Thursday NVIDIA celebrates its first anniversary of the release of GeForce NOW from beta and bringing the growing PC gaming world to gamers' underpowered or incompatible devices.
The anniversary celebration also coincides with the next update of GFN Thursdays. This Thursday NVIDIA has released a list of games coming to GeForce NOW in February and 13 games that will be available on GeForce NOW this week.
Last year, NVIDIA expanded GeForce NOW to include Chromebooks, Android, iPhone and iPads, increasing the range of new games available. Today, NVIDIA announced that it is expanding platform support for PC and Mac using the Chrome browser and Macs built on the new Apple M1 chip. This is still through Rosetta but is now officially supported.
As part of its first anniversary celebrations, NVIDIA also shares streaming details, such as how many hours of gameplay, footage captured with NVIDIA Highlights.
2020 Million Hours Spent on GeForce NOW in 175
GeForce NOW automatically captures all the legendary moments gamers experience in games. Thanks to NVIDIA Highlights technology, GeForce NOW members were able to record more than 130 million legendary moments automatically captured. These legendary moments were derived from the 2020 million hours players spent in the game throughout 175. These figures include the 2077 million hours spent on Cyberpunk 3, which aired on RTX in December.
More Platforms Added
As of today, beta support for the Chrome browser is coming to Windows PC and macOS. Thus, members will be able to access GeForce NOW from their browsers on more devices. Native apps on the whole platform still provide the best gaming experience and features, and it will now be much easier to play games around here. NVIDIA's latest client version, available for download today, also adds official support for Macs with the new Apple M1 VIA Rosetta 2 chip. Users who want to access the GeForce NOW application on Apple products with new chips must first install Rosetta.
GFN Thursday Updates in February
GeForce NOW members will have the opportunity to play more than 30 games this month. In February, GeForce NOW members will be able to access Square Enix, Apex Legends Season 8, Valheim, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood and Outriders demo.

Although the announced list is like this, NVIDIA announced it will make some surprise additions in February, such as the launch of Hitman 3, The Medium, the Immortals Fenyx Rising demo, Dyson Sphere Program and Neon Abyss, as in January.
